IPL Mega Auction is just around the corner. While a total number of 1214 players first put their names on auction, it has been alter trimmed to 590 players. The auction is going to take place on February 12th and 13th at Bengaluru. As per the reports this might be the last time IPL will witness a mega auction.
A total of 10 players have been kept in the set of marquee players for the auction. These include 6 foreign players while 4 Indian players. David Warner, Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Bold, Pat Cummins and Quinton de Kock are the foreign players included in the marquee players list i.e. the top draw. The names of four Indian marquee players are R Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Shami and Shikhar Dhawan.
The Marquee players are expected to fetch big numbers in the auction. Yet again this year, we are going to witness big banks breaking on many players.
