All the state universities and degree colleges to reopen from June 1!

All degree colleges and universities in the state will reopen from June 1 amid fears of coronary epidemic. Higher Education Secretary Shaswat Mishra has written a letter to all Chancellor and Principal of Degree Colleges in this regard. In the first week of this month, the state government shut down all educational institutions due to the effects of the second phase of the Corona epidemic. However, according to a letter from the Secretary of Higher Education, the summer vacation period announced by the Department of Higher Education expires on the 31st of this month. Classes will begin on June 1 after the end of this vacation.

Classes will be held in higher education institutions as per the Covid guidelines issued by the department on April 14, 2021. Covid 19 is still on the rise in the state. The state has a lockdown until June 1, while the weekly shutdown is also in force. But despite this, the government has decided to make higher education institutions operational.

Notably, after the first wave of corona, colleges and universities were opened in the state. Students opposed the offline test even though the university opened under the Covid guidelines. However, offline classes at the university are suspended for now after Covid condition deteriorated.
