Facebook suspends Trump’s account for two years

Facebook taken action against former US President Donald Trump. The social media company has suspended his Facebook account for two years. That means Trump will not be able to use his Facebook account until 2023. Facebook has also announced how it will deal with leaders who violate Facebook rules in the future.

Facebook has said it has suspended Trump’s account after Jan with a two-year ban. His account was blocked on January 7, when riots broke out in the US capital for the first time. Facebook said the ban would be lifted only after the threat to public safety was reduced.

Trump said of his Facebook suspension that it was an insult to the American people who voted for him. On Friday, former President Trump said Facebook’s decision was “disrespectful” to the 75 million people who voted for him in the 2020 presidential election. Facebook shouldn’t do all this to make us censored and silent. In the end, the victory is ours. Our country can no longer tolerate humiliation.
