7 students suspended for harassing a female student

If these pupils are observed on or around campus, the members of the anti-ragging committee, squad, and discipline have been instructed to notify the local police station right away.Seven students have been suspended by Khallikote Higher Secondary School administrators in Berhampur for their suspected involvement in ragging a female student last month.According to a notice released by the principal’s office, the anti-ragging committee’s proposal to permanently suspend the seven pupils from school was followed.

Sudam Choudhury, Partha Das, D. Kirana Patrudu, K. Narasingha Patra, Mousam Behera, S. Goutam Rao, and Kanha Sabat are the pupils who have been suspended. If these pupils are observed on or near the school, the members of the anti-ragging committee, squad, and discipline have been instructed to immediately notify the neighbourhood police station.The higher secondary school administration will still permit the students to take the yearly test.According to the Anti-Ragging Committee’s recommendation, the following students have their access to the campus permanently barred. The police are free to pursue the appropriate legal remedies against them if they are discovered on campus, the notice stated.

According to the charges, some second-year students allegedly harassed a junior college Plus II first-year girl student. She claimed that the senior batch accused boy students followed her to the classroom and harassed her. On the basis of the allegations, an investigation was immediately ordered and action was started.
