Mr. Parida being a writer looks to be socially aware, and he tries to make the reader informed as well. He struck the insides of his heart with a powerful stroke, allowing the emotions to flow freely. He talks about things that can promote cultural values because he is a popular poet. His writings depict the current situation, which is flecked with modern depravity. He is deeply hurt by the evils he sees and, as a moralist, ponders them. The moralistic tone triumphs over the vigor of imagination and symbolic modes. In summary, he succeeds in bringing the reader to his original land, from there to the horrors that plague India, and then presents moralistic solutions based on cultural values and customs.
“Literature and politics are like two sides of the same coin”. He says. Though he has his own set of parallels and differences, the goal of both politics and literature is the same: to make a good impact on society. As someone who has worked in both politics and literature, I’ve learned to balance the two professions equally well, he says.
Visionary leaders have carried their country’s ideas to the international stage. Whether it’s the Coronavirus pandemic or national security, India’s leaders have always gone above and beyond to protect the country’s multicultural characteristics. Being a people person he says, “Politics has always had an impact on my writing. Bhubaneswar, Gandhi, Ganatantra o Tini Maankada, and other past literary masterpieces are good examples of this. For example, classic epics such as the Ramayana and Mahabharat reflect the socio-political order of the time, and today’s socio-political order will supply fuel for tomorrow’s literature and history. Politics and literature, in my opinion, are inextricably linked, and both positively impact one another”.
As a Social Activist, he engages in active politics as a means of serving the people. Literary accomplishments are just as important as those related to socio-political activity. Being chosen unopposed by the people, similar to Swiss Democracy, and receiving a one lakh prize money from the then Chief Minister of Orissa and Legendary Statesman Late Biju Patnaik, he began his political career as Chairman. Since 2007, he has served as President of the Puri Zilla Parishad and Chairperson of the Orissa State Panchayat Parishad, and he has held both positions till March 2012.
