The always dependable PSLV rocket from ISRO launched its final mission of the year. On Saturday, the polar satellite launch vehicle demonstrated its prowess once more by launching an earth observation satellite together with eight more co-passengers onto one of the longest missions.
According to the space agency, the satellites were launched by the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C54) at 11:56 a.m. from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center. The third-generation OceanSat satellite, constructed specifically for ocean research, is the Earth Observation Satellite-6.The primary payload Earth Observation Satellite (Oceansat) was safely launched after a 17-minute flight, and the scientists successfully launched the passenger satellites into sun-synchronous orbits after lowering the rocket’s altitude to around 528 kilometres. The most recent launch occurs about a week after Vikram-S, which marked the entrance of the private sector into the space industry.
