Odisha CM Launches E-Audio Guided Tour At Kalabhoomi Museum

Today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik introduced the E-Audio Guided Tour at Kalabhoomi Museum, a pioneering project in the area. According to a formal press release, this e-audio tour is a presentation of the Odisha Crafts Museum and is available in three languages: Odia, Hindi, and English. As a personal ally, the audio guide leads visitors through engrossing storylines and offers details about the objects on show. Visitors are given an immersive experience that enables them to feel deeply connected to Odisha’s rich cultural history.

Visitors are introduced to a seamless fusion of technology and cultural discovery through this ground-breaking offering, delivering a memorable and enriching museum experience. The CM also introduced the museum’s updated website, which has cutting-edge elements including a captivating 360 Virtual tour, an E-ticketing system, and a handpicked selection of mementos from the gift store created to enhance the user experience. The renowned master of modern art Trotsky Marudu has produced a stunning coffee table book, which the Chief Minister also unveiled. The Coffee Table Book pays homage to the talented artists who have enriched the state’s legacy with their magnificent works and portrays the spirit of Odisha’s rich cultural heritage.

Rita Sahoo, the Minister for Handloom, Textiles, and Handicrafts, as well as Principal Secretary Dr. Arabinda Padhee, Chief Adviser CMO R Balkrisnan, Chief Secretary PK Jena, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, and other key officers were present. The E-Audio Guided Tour is a significant development in Odisha’s cultural history. It is expected to change how visitors interact with the museum’s vast collection of artwork and cultural artifacts. This program demonstrates the State’s dedication to safeguarding and advancing Odisha’s creative heritage while embracing technological innovations.
