The programme aims to give money to families living in kutcha huts and homeless people in rural areas.Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, will introduce the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Nyay Yojna (MGANY) in the district of Bilaspur on Monday, ahead of the Chhattisgarh assembly elections scheduled for later this year.This programme aims to give families living in kutcha huts and homeless people in rural areas financial support. Gandhi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel would distribute the first instalment of 25,000 each to 1,30,000 recipients during the “Awas Nyay Sammelan,” according to officials.

Gandhi and Baghel will also present appointment letters to 2,594 freshly hired teachers and lay the cornerstone for development and building projects worth 524.33 crore in the district of Bilaspur, the source continued.According to MGANY, the Chhattisgarh government will give cash assistance to homeless households who weren’t included in the survey list of the Socio-Economic Caste Census-2011 (SECC-2011), the official added.The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY-Rural) waitlist of 6,99,439 eligible recipients who have not yet received PMAY benefits is also intended to be helped by the programme. Due to the Central Government’s failure to allocate goals, these 6,99,439 families did not receive approval for houses under PMAY Rural, the official claimed.
