Public Health Director Dr. Niranjan Mishra was notified on Tuesday that there have been 367 cases of heat-related diseases and two sunstroke deaths reported in Odisha thus far. According to Dr Mishra, Sundargarh is home to the greatest number of people afflicted by heat-related ailments.
50 instances are from Mayurbhanj and about 60 cases are from Sundargarh, according to reports. As I previously reported, there have been two proven cases of sunstroke deaths, said Dr. Mishra.
According to the Public Health Director, it is up to individuals to lessen sunstrokes.
“They ought to stay out of the sun.” During the busiest times, stay inside. If at all possible, avoid being outside in the sun. If you must go out, make sure you take the necessary safety measures. Make sure you’re getting enough water. Bring along an umbrella and a damp towel. The Public Health Director suggested that people take short naps beneath trees.
