A review meeting was held at Lok Seva Bhavan on Monday in light of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Odisha from July 6th to 9th and his involvement in several programs. Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja presided over a review meeting that was attended by senior State Police officers, Director General of Police Arun Kumar Sarangi, Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries of concerned various Departments. A thorough presentation was given by Special Secretary Home Santosh Bala regarding the President’s visit.
Based on the information that has been obtained thus far, the President is scheduled to attend the July 6th evening’s 96th death anniversary of Utkalmani Pandit Gopbandhu Das at Jaydev Bhavan. She is going to Puri early on July 7th, and she will see the Sri Gundicha Rath Yatra in the afternoon. The President will take an early stroll at Puri Beach on July 8. She will then go back to Bhubaneswar, where she will engage with students at Bibhuti Kanungo College of Arts and Crafts and tour the Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves in the afternoon. She is supposed to take part in a session at the Divine Retreat Center (DRC) in Mendhasala Haridamada in Bhubaneswar that same day in the afternoon.
On July 9th afternoon the President will return to New Delhi after attending the 13th Convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER), Jatni in the forenoon.
