Six Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) officers were posted as Private Secretaries/Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) to different ministers in Odisha. A notification issued by the General Administration Department stated that ADM, Kendrapada, Shri Pitambar Samal, OAS (SAG) transferred and posted as private secretary to the Minister of State (Independent Charge), Co-operation, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, Pradeep Bal Samanta. Dillip Kumar Mohapatra, ADM, Boudh, was transferred and posted as private secretary to the Minister of State, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Labour and Employee’s State Insurance, Ganesh R. Singkhuntia.
In a similar vein, Krushna Chandra Patra, Minister of Science and Technology, nominated Madhusudan Behera, Joint Secretary to Government, W&CD Department, as a private secretary. A private secretary was appointed to Gokulananda Mallik, Minister of State for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, by Dr. Badal Kumar Mohanty, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Khordha. Sidhartha Sankar Sahu, OSD, Sports & YS Department, was moved and assigned as OSD to the office of Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister of State, Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education.
In the office of the Minister, S & ME, ST & SC Development, M & BCW, SS & EPD, Nityananda Gond, Ashish Kumar Bhoi, Deputy Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department, was transferred as OSD. He held the position of Secretary, State Level Advisory Unit (SLAU), Special Development Council (SDC), Bhubaneswar.
