Actor Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed at his Bandra home on Thursday, has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital after spending five days there. Sources close to the actor confirmed that Saif, 54, was released on Tuesday afternoon and was accompanied by his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, as they headed back to their residence.
Saif was attacked by an intruder at his home last week and sustained multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at around 3 a.m. on Thursday, where he underwent emergency surgery. The five-hour procedure, which included the removal of a piece of the knife lodged in his body, was followed by a stay in the ICU. Doctors have since confirmed that the actor is out of danger and is recovering well.
The shocking incident took place at Saif’s Bandra residence, where he lives with Kareena and their two children. Despite the traumatic event, the actor’s condition has improved significantly, and he is now on the road to recovery.Saif sustained six injuries in the attack, including two deep cuts. Upon his arrival at Lilavati Hospital on Thursday, doctors noted that he was leaking spinal fluid. Fortunately, he avoided any major injuries, and doctors have confirmed that he is recovering well.
