CHSE Marks 43rd Foundation Day With Grand Celebrations In Bhubaneswar

On Sunday, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, staged a lavish celebration at its headquarters in Bhubaneswar to commemorate its 43rd Foundation Day. Nityananda Gond, Minister of School and Mass Education, welcomed the event as Chief Guest and emphasized the critical role that education plays in the development of a nation.

The standard for a Samruddh Bharat (prosperous India) is education. By forming people’s personalities, it contributes to the development of a healthy society,” the Minister said. He also praised the CHSE personnel for their 43 years of steadfast dedication to mentoring successive generations of students.

Minister Gond and other dignitaries distributed a memento called “Pragyan,” which is the yearly NSS report, as part of the festivities. Students who performed very well in the SGFI National Sports Competition were also honored during the ceremony. The Council staff’s performance of the social drama “Gurudakshina” was one of the day’s cultural highlights.

The guests of honor were Srikant Tarai, the president of the Board of Secondary Education, and Subhashree Nanda, the additional secretary of the School and Mass Education Department. The program was led by CHSE Secretary Subhrabala Behera, while the welcoming message was given by CHSE Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das. Many students, thinkers, educators, and Council employees took part in the festivities, celebrating the day with joy and zeal.
