Iran’s exiled crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, has issued a bold new call for protests, urging workers across key sectors—such as transport, oil, gas and energy—to launch nationwide strikes to cripple the Islamic Republic’s authority and force change.
Pahlavi also called on Iranians to take to the streets over the weekend, carrying flags and national symbols, and declared that he is preparing to return home to Iran once opposition forces achieve victory.
His appeal comes as anti-government unrest continues to spread across major Iranian cities, with protesters chanting both anti-regime slogans and calls for a political shift from the clerical leadership. The regime has responded by cutting off internet and communications, while rights groups report escalating clashes.
