
Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Odisha State Council Annual General Meeting Held in Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar : The Annual General Meeting of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Odisha State Council was held on 21st January 2026 at Hotel Lemon Tree, Bhubaneswar. Established in 1925, ICC has entered its centenary year, marking an incredible journey of 100 years of service to the nation. As one of the oldest and most active national chambers of commerce, ICC has played a significant role in shaping the industrial landscape of India.
On this occasion, Shri Rajib Sekhar Sahoo once again assumed charge as the Chairman of ICC Odisha State Council. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Shri Sahoo is the Principal Partner of SRB Associates. He has previously served as a Trustee of Paradip Port Trust from 2008 to 2010, Director of Andhra Bank from July 2008 to July 2011, and Director of Bank of Baroda from December 2011 to December 2014. He has also held leadership positions in several insurance companies. Currently, he is associated with reputed institutions such as Indraprastha Gas Limited and Kalinga Hospital.
Shri Dharmaditya Patnaik has again been entrusted with the responsibility of Senior Vice Chairman, ICC Odisha State Council. He is the Managing Director of ACE Commercial Company Pvt. Ltd., and a prominent entrepreneur with diversified business interests across chemicals, finance, stock broking, and resources. Widely respected for his strategic leadership and innovation, Shri Patnaik is also a passionate patron of heritage and culture.
Smt. Nilanjana Mukherjee will continue as the Vice Chair, ICC Odisha State Council. She is currently the Managing Director of Padmini Care Hospital. She began her professional career with the Taj Group and has built extensive experience across the hospitality and healthcare sectors. She has worked with leading hospital chains such as Apollo, Columbia Asia, and AMRI Group, and brings over 20 years of experience gained from working across various parts of India.
Over the past 100 years, ICC has taken numerous initiatives to advance India’s economic growth and enhance its global competitiveness. The Chamber plays a key role in supporting Indian businesses, promoting innovation, and strengthening industry–government collaboration. In Odisha, ICC has been instrumental in facilitating coordination among various state offices, addressing industry-related challenges, and formulating effective policy strategies.
With a strong emphasis on nationalism and stakeholder engagement, ICC operates through several Business Expert Committees, focusing on sectors such as Agriculture and Food Processing, Metals and Mining, CSR, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Skills and Education, Healthcare and Real Estate, Industrial Logistics, MSMEs, Environment and Health, Finance and Taxation. The INWEC (Indian National Women Entrepreneurs Council) continues to actively promote women entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. These committees work towards developing sector-specific policy recommendations to support sustainable development.
