PM Modi Unveils Major Projects For T’gana In Economic Package Worth Rs 9,400cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated many development projects costing around Rs 9,400 crore for Telangana with the goal of improving connectivity and generating large-scale employment in the state. He also placed the foundation stone. The Prime Minister spoke to the group via video conference, emphasizing Hyderabad’s transformative significance as a center of national and international relevance and outlining how Telangana will become a major industrial hub thanks to many large-scale projects that were inaugurated today.

The Prime Minister highlighted India’s progress on the Reforms Express while constructing cutting-edge infrastructure in a number of industries. The Zaheerabad Industrial Area, which represents the government of India’s national objective to establish industrial corridors, was named as a cornerstone of this change. The Prime Minister said that these facilities will be funded by thousands of crores of rupees from the Union Government, opening up job opportunities for lakhs of young people in Hyderabad and Telangana. PM Modi emphasized the multiplier impact, saying that “vehicles, machinery manufactured here, and food processing industries established in the zone will empower Telangana’s workers and farmers alike.”

He emphasized how participating units will receive full advantages from Union Government programs, such as the PLI scheme, while the PM MITRA Park in Warangal will spark a national textile revolution. The Prime Minister described the Government of India’s remarkable 12-year investment trajectory in contemporary connectivity infrastructure across roads, railroads, and airports, pointing out that National Highways development alone has received approximately Rs 1.75 lakh crore. He said that Telangana has benefited greatly from this national focus, as seen by the state’s National Highway network tripling in the last 12 years.
