In relation to the textbook mistake matter, which is being investigated by the state Crime Branch, four more officers petitioned the Orissa High Court for anticipatory relief. Three top representatives from the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and the Directorate of Teacher Education (DTE) are among the petitioners for anticipatory bail.
Dilip Sahu, Pralipta Mishra, Bharati Tudu, and Kishore Kar have been identified as the applicants. According to reports, Anupam Ghosh and Asim Kumar Ghosh of the publishing company implicated in the case had already asked the court for anticipatory relief. The officials seemed to have moved bail petitions in response to the Crime Branch’s increased investigation and legal action in the matter.
