Today, the General Manager of East Coast Railway, Parmeshwar Funkwal, examined the ongoing renovations at Bhubaneswar Railway Station and assessed the status of a number of passenger amenities and infrastructure development initiatives. General Manager checked the concourse area, platforms, and other significant places at the station during the inspection and assessed the progress of the continuous projects. He met with officials and representatives of the implementing organizations and evaluated the progress with an emphasis on quality, safety, and timely completion.
He also stressed the need for appropriate actions to reduce traveler inconvenience and ensure easy traveler movement during the whole rebuilding process. The renovation of the Bhubaneswar Railway Station is intended to turn it into a modern, passenger-friendly, and effective transportation hub with enhanced amenities, renovated platform facilities, and improved passenger flow.
