India has observed 50,129 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 78,64,811, as per the Union health ministry data. With 578 new deaths in the recent 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,18,534.
A total of 62,077 patients were recovered in the country in 24 hours. The number of those recover since the beginning of the pandemic is now 70,78,123.
After a dip of 12,526 in the last 24 hours, the active Covid-19 cases in India now at 6,68,154. As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the country’s total recoveries from coronavirus have crossed the milestone of 70 lakh.
