The Special Squad of the Delhi Police has arrested an accused working for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. The arrested person is identified as Harpal Singh of Tarnataran area of Punjab. He was working for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI on the Indo-Pak international border. Indian Army secret documents and maps were seized from Harpal.
According to information received, accused Harpal Singh had come to Delhi to get some secret information. Another spy working for the ISI was to meet in Delhi and provide some confidential information and confidential documents of the Indian Army. But the Delhi Police Special Squad has been able to apprehend the accused on the basis of intelligence information.
Accused Harpal Singh was on the radar of several agencies. He was arrested under the Official Secrets4 Act (OSA), a senior Delhi Police official said. Police have arrested the suspect and produced him in court.
