CM Naveen Patnaik Releases State Govt’s Matching Grant Of Rs 1.5 Cr To “Mo College” Campaign

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released the state government’s share to the donation made by the alumni around the world under Mo College campaign. He releases the first tranche of Rs 1.5 crore to 12 colleges and 2 universities under Mo College campaign.

According to the reports, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed that as per the mandate of the campaign, this is double the amount made by various contributors to higher educational institutions as per the mandate of Mo College campaign.

He further announced that 40 higher educational institutions will be developed under 5T transformation in the first phase. This will provide state-of-the-art campus and classrooms to over 30,000 students at the under-graduate and post-graduate level.

CM Patnaik stated that the success of school transformation programme has inspired the government to take up similar initiatives for the higher education institution, he said the government is developing 1070 schools for transformation which will be completed by November 14.

CM Patnaik also envisioned that the College Transformation Programme will give an ideal ambience and guidance to channelise the youthful vigour and irrepressible energy of the young souls. He also called upon the people especially the members of alumni to join the “Mo College” campaign.

He also thanked the donors and contributors and stated that this is undoubtedly a great beginning which will go a long way to inspire more and more members of the alumni and philanthropists to give back to their alma maters for ensuring a holistic development of the college ecosystem of the state.
