The mercury will dip in Odisha for the next two days. As per the reports of the IMD, several parts of the state will have a great reduction in temperatures, and certain places will have dense fog conditions prevailing. In the last 24 hours, there have been several places in Odisha that have gone below 10 degrees Celcius.

Phulbani was the coldest at 7.5 degrees Celsius followed by G Udayagiri at 8 degrees Celsius, Similiguda at 8.2 degrees Celsius, Sonepur at 9 degrees Celsius, Daringbadi at 9.5 degrees Celsius, and Keonjhar at 9.8 degrees Celsius, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological center informed on Monday.
Notably, the Met Office had issued a yellow warning for cold waves at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Sonepur, Balangir, and Kalahandi till 8.30 am on Monday. Dense fog warning has been issued for the next two days.
