The honorable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik casted his vote for municipal election in Odisha. Odisha is have its municipal vote going on 23rd and 24th of March 2022. Naveen Patnaik was taken to the booth poll amid tight security, where he casted his vote.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister urged the people of the State to vote in large numbers and strengthen the democracy. He asked people to comply with the Covid guidelines during the polling and encourage others to cast their votes.
The Panchayat elections in Odisha was held a month back. Even though a lot of violence was recorded in the pre panchayat elections, the Biju Janata Dal came out truimp winning almost every seat in the lowest level elections.
