Kupwara , Jammu and Kashmir : Three terrorists linked with the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara area on Thursday morning, according to Kashmir Zone police. Police conducted an operation after getting specific information about a terrorist infiltration attempt in Kupwara’s Jumagund hamlet. The confrontation began when the infiltrating terrorists were apprehended by the army and police.IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar provided an update on the encounter, saying that all three terrorists, who were linked with the banned terror group LeT, had been slain and their identities were being determined. Incriminating items, including rifles and ammo, were retrieved from the terrorists, according to Kumar.
