Is the Business Empire of Naba Das under threat ?

A powerful politician from coastal Odisha is purportedly eyeing Naba Das’ economic empire, which is now under jeopardy as a result of his passing. The minister who was slain once held sway over the coal and transportation industries. Soon after 2004 when he began to actively engage in politics, his control over the transportation of ash and minerals as well as the coal industry grew. It is speculated that a politician from coastal Odisha is attempting to take advantage of Naba Das’s vacated position. The aforementioned leader has been travelling to Jharsuguda regularly in an effort to encroach on Naba Das’ territory. It is also discussed that another politician who is a former minister from the adjoining region is mediating for him.

On February 17, the leader was observed in a private meeting with the SP and Sambalpur Collector in the office of the Northern Range IG. A reputable ash company had been forcibly raided earlier that day by between 30 and 40 individuals from Rengali and adjacent villages within the jurisdiction of Katarabaga Police, who also threatened the employees with terrible consequences if the company was not shut down.Meanwhile, Bhatli Legislator Sushant Singh was the target of direct gunfire from Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nauri Naik.

MLA Sushant Singh is attempting to take over the Naba Das business empire. At one point, some individuals caused a commotion at an ash company. There are such things happening,” stated Naik.”But, when he left the Northern Range IG’s office, Sushant Singh told reporters that he had gone there to talk about the safety and security measures for the CM’s visit.Furthermore supporting Sushant Singh, BJD MLA Bhagirathi Sethi asserted that “no leader from the ruling party is involved in it” (Naba Das murder case). If a plot was organised against him (Naba Das), it hasn’t been proven yet.”We had anticipated that there would be commotion in areas under Naba Das’ influence. Dinesh Jain, an attorney in Jharsuguda, claimed that it had already begun in Sambalpur. He advised the state administration to act before things get out of hand by keeping this in mind.
