In Badshah, Twinkle Khanna costarred with Shah Rukh Khan. She remembered being hungry for the movie tune.Recently, former actress Twinkle Khanna discussed her experience of starvation during the recording of the song Mohabbat Ho Gayee. The song came from Badshah, starring Shah Rukh Khan. After consuming solely chickpeas, Twinkle told Shrayana Bhattacharya that she felt like a petrol canister. “I am aware that many actresses claim to eat anything and not follow a diet, but in reality, the majority of them are starving. I don’t know why we wore those catsuits, but if you want your stomach to be flat, you should wear them. I was starving. I had the idea that I would survive off of channa on my own.
He had to hoist me up in this song, and even though I was terrified I might blow up like the Parliament’s petrol canisters, I didn’t. I did survive that bit too, as you can see by the way my teeth are clenching there and other things are clenching as well. In response to the praise she received for her role in the movie, Twinkle also stated, “I did receive a review from that movie, but it was really negative and just focused on my navel. And it was all right at the time; no one objected. It didn’t seem misogynistic to us. I believe I even thanked the author.
After letting go of her performing profession, Twinkle became an author. Her most recent work, Welcome to Paradise, was just released. “Welcome to Paradise, my 4th book, is a collection of stories that explore the depths of heartbreak, relationships, and deception,” she wrote on Instagram in reference to the book. After spending the last five years living in my brain, a few of these characters are now prepared to meet you all.
