Test cricket is being played for over 145 years. However, its only the third time a feat has been achieved today. This shows the unthinkable feat achieved by Mumbai born New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel. Ajaz Patel becomes only the third bowler in the history of test cricket to take 10 wickets in an innings, the first ever against Team India. He joins the rare elite club of Anil Kumble and JC Lacker.
In a marathon spell of 47.5 overs out of total 109.5 overs, Ajaz Patel took all Indian wickets by giving away only 119 runs. Moreover, he also bowled 12 maiden overs as well. India bundled out their first innings in 325 in 109.5 overs with opener Mayank Agarwal being the top scorer of 150 runs.
