Odisha concluded its three-day investment outreach in the UAE on Friday, securing proposed investments worth ₹2.43 trillion (₹2,43,162 crore) with the potential to generate 6,18,725 jobs, as the state intensified its global efforts to attract capital, technology, manufacturing partnerships and greater access to international markets.

According to official sources, the outreach resulted in eight memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and 16 investment intents over the three-day engagement. The state attracted investment proposals worth ₹2.10 trillion (₹2,10,500 crore) on the opening day in Abu Dhabi, followed by ₹8,417 crore on Day 2 and ₹24,245 crore on the final day in Dubai.

Across multiple sectors, Odisha secured interest in 14 projects worth around ₹2.10 trillion, while sector-specific commitments included ₹18,000 crore in green energy, ₹5,102 crore in chemicals and petrochemicals, and ₹4,020 crore in information technology and electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM). Additional proposals included ₹1,600 crore in logistics and infrastructure, ₹1,100 crore in agro and food processing, ₹900 crore in ship repair, ₹600 crore in the circular economy, ₹520 crore in aluminium, ₹470 crore in steel and downstream industries, ₹300 crore in rare earths, and ₹50 crore in engineering.

The delegation, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, generated 24 investment proposals through 52 business engagements, comprising 46 one-on-one investor meetings and six roundtable discussions. The outreach brought together more than 400 UAE-based investors, representatives of global companies, sovereign and institutional stakeholders, Indian diplomats, and members of the Odia diaspora. The final day of the Odisha Investors’ Meet-UAE 2026 in Dubai drew around 400 business leaders and investors, with discussions spanning tourism, logistics, financial investments, LNG storage, green energy, artificial intelligence, data centres, rare earths, ship repair, propellant manufacturing, fertilisers, chemicals, housing, and steel downstream industries.

Among the key agreements, CAZBAA Project Ventures FZCO signed an MoU for an LNG storage project worth ₹1,100 crore, while Rana Holdings Limited committed ₹18,000 crore across green energy, AI data centres, and rare earths through multiple agreements.
