Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday launched a no-holds barred attack on Narendra Modi for calling him an “experienced thief” and said that the Prime Minister has accepted openly that the probe agencies do not have a single piece of evidence in the ‘false’ liquor policy case.
In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Arvind Kejriwal claimed that central agencies have “kept him imprisoned” without a single shed of evidence in the alleged money laundering case linked to the now-scrapped liquor policy case.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently said that he doesn’t have any evidence against Arvind Kejriwal as he is an experienced thief. By saying this, he (Modi) has only accepted that there is no evidence against me in this whole matter,” the Chief Minister said.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief also claimed that the probe agencies do not have any proof or have not made any recovery of the proceeds of the alleged crime.
“They (Enforcement Directorate) has forcefully kept me behind bars with any proof or recovery of money in the said liquor scam. Yesterday, in front of the whole nation, PM Modi accepted that the liquor scam is false and they have no proof. It’s been 2 years since they are investigating the case, and even with the collective force of the ED and CBI, they failed to collect any evidence,” he said.
