Bengal is the safest state for women, according to Mamata Banerjee, one day after PM Modi attacked Sandeshkhali.

Mamata Banerjee charged that the BJP was disseminating false information concerning Sandeshkhali, wherein TMC politicians are accused by women of molesting them.West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday that the state is the safest place in the nation for women and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of disseminating misleading information about Sandeshkhali, where women have accused TMC politicians of sexually abusing them.

False information on Sandeshkhali is being disseminated by some people. PTI cited Banerjee as adding, “BJP leaders are spreading canards about the safety of women in West Bengal but they maintain a stoic silence when women are tortured in BJP-ruled states.”

“West Bengal is the safest state in the country for women,” she stated.Mamata Banerjee made her comments one day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the TMC, claiming that women’s fury would spread throughout West Bengal and not be limited to the alleged sexual assaults in Sandeshkhali.”Torturing mothers and sisters is a serious sin that TMC has committed.
