Deepak Chahar with his recent all-rounder skills was bought back at the IPL auction by CSK after a prolonged battle with other teams. Thereby, he became one of the richest buys in IPL 2022 with 14 Crore. CSK were very happy to get him back and use him well as a new ball bowler and an allrounder coming at No 7 or 8.
However, there might be a big blow to CSK coming up. As per the reports, Deepak Chahar might miss the entire IPL 2022. Deepak Chahar received a hamstring injury at the T20 series against West Indies and as per the reports, the injury might keep him out for a couple of months in action. Thereby, it’s a big blow to CSK.
Chennai will now look to buy another Indian bowler at a low price which will stabilize their team.
