Big breaking news is coming up. As per the recent reports, there is a possible threat of cyclones over Odisha. As per the reports of IMD, severe low pressure is brewing up over the Bay of Bengal. However, clearer picture will be available in the next 3 to 4 days.
As per IMD, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood around May 4. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region during the next 24 hours.
It is likely to become more marked during the subsequent 24 hours. There is a possibility of further intensification by May 6. Several models and private agencies are predicting the intensification of the system into a cyclone.
However, IMD has not made any predictions in this regard. Whether it will take the shape of a cyclone can only be ascertained in the next two to three days, said IMD.
