BJP Marks PM Narendra Modi’s 75th Birthday with Celebrations Across States Today

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on Tuesday, September 17, with a series of nationwide events, health drives, and development programmes under its “Sewa Pakhwada” campaign running till October 2, Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

In Delhi, 41 Municipal Corporation of Delhi healthcare centres will be converted into Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs on the occasion, with a target of creating over 300 such units. Several primary health centres, maternity homes, and polyclinics will also be upgraded to provide comprehensive medical care.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate 15 developmental projects at Thyagraj Stadium, including hospital blocks, 101 neighbourhood clinics, 150 dialysis centres, 75 policing drones, and two waste-to-energy plants. The Delhi government will also launch 500 crèches for children of women labourers.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar, PM Modi will kick off the fortnight-long “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar” campaign and the eighth National Nutrition Month, unveil the PM MITRA textile park, and transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to nearly 10 lakh women. He will also launch the Suman Sakhi Chatbot for maternal and child health awareness, distribute the 10 millionth sickle cell screening card, and begin the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan to boost tribal welfare.

In his constituency Varanasi, projects worth ₹111 crore will be inaugurated. Meanwhile, Maharashtra BJP will organise over one lakh cataract surgeries, screen 10 lakh people, and distribute free spectacles as part of its state-wide campaign.

Party leaders say these initiatives reflect both Modi’s focus on social empowerment and the BJP’s commitment to mark his milestone birthday with service-driven programmes nationwide.
