Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits via video conferencing on Tuesday as part of the government’s ‘Rozgar Mela’ (employment fair).
Mr. Modi said, virtually addressing the second round of the fair, where 71,000 new Central Government recruits were given joining letters at 45 locations across the country, “Possibility of new jobs in both the government and private sectors is constantly increasing.” More importantly, these opportunities are becoming available to young people in their own cities and villages.”
As the Rozgar Mela of today demonstrates, the Central Government is on a mission to provide employment opportunities to the country’s youth… The government is giving top priority to utilising their talent and energy for nation-building,” the Prime Minister said.
Mr. Modi mentioned the availability of many online courses for government officials while speaking about the ‘Karmayogi Bharat’ technology platform, which was launched on Tuesday. He also launched ‘Karamyogi Prarambh,’ a special online orientation course designed for new appointees in government departments, and urged them to take full advantage of it.
