That two ancient countries, India and China, who have shared a border and a spiritual destiny for thousands of years, have since grown into fierce geopolitical competitors, particularly in the Himalayas, may seem like a bizarre paradox.

Therefore, before learning about the whole conflict between India and China, let’s learn about our Indian army, which heroically battled to preserve India’s honour.

The battle of Rezang La, in which Major Shaintan Singh received the Param Vir Chakra, took place during the 1962 conflict in social valley, when China launched its primary attack himself. The Indian army fought valiantly in this battle. In this war, 120 men from India killed more than 1,000 Chinese soldiers.’

Before delving deeper into the subject, let’s briefly discuss the galwan standoff, an episode that will always hold a special place in our hearts because it involved Indian soldiers who were killed by a surprise attack from China.

China has continued to contest its boundary ever since. It started when China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) constructed a road on the Doklam plateau, which is recognised as a Bhutan territory by both India and Bhutan. In June 2017, China tried to construct a road on the Doklam plateau south of the Doka La pass, but Indian military intervened to halt further road construction.

This resulted in a military standoff between the two nations, and on June 15, 2020, the Armies of India and China fought a brutal battle in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley. A military standoff with China resulted from the war, one of the bloodiest in 45 years and its really sad to know one that claimed the lives of 20 Indian troops  and after that also our nation soldiers fought bravely with china troops gave them a bloody nose in this war ,  which is know as the galwan standoff

In 1954, India and China had a very good relationship thanks to the Sino-Indian Agreement, also known as the Panchsheel Agreement. However, in 1959, a conflict between China and Tibet erupted, and Dalai Lama asked India for assistance. As a result, India gave refuge to it, which led to a war in 1962 that india soldiers bravely fought. pursuing it In 1967, however, India defeated China in under 5 years..

Training In Modern Martial Arts For The Border

The Chinese PLA used crude weapons to inflict fatal injuries on Indian troops during the Galwan clash in 2020, which is why the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), which guards the LAC with China, is training its personnel in a new unarmed “offensive” combat technique. By learning this technique, the ITBP will be better equipped to face off against the enemy.

The training module includes 15 to 20 diverse battle manoeuvres drawn from judo, karate, and krav maga, among other martial arts. These manoeuvres include striking, kicking, throwing, joint locks, and pinning down.

Now that you are aware of everything, let’s move on to the very intriguing reason why China is attempting to seize the border: China’s true game plan, also known as the “five finger policy.”

The Five Fingers Strategy had in mind when China’s former leader, Mao Zedong, created its foreign policy. He believed that Tibet was China’s right hand, while Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Ladakh were the “five fingers” of its border, and that it was China’s duty to “liberate” these areas.

Even though it was never referenced in official statements made by subsequent Chinese administrations, its existence was confirmed in a short-lived propaganda pamphlet of the Chinese Communist Party during the Doklam crisis in 2017.( Important )

CHINA SPY ACTIVITIES

Recently, too China has discovered a handy port that is near to India and a willing partner in Sri Lanka by mooring its ballistic missile and satellite tracking ship Yuan Wang 5 at Hambantota in Colombo. It serves as a warning to New Delhi. In addition to highlighting China’s influence—read: control—over Sri Lanka, the “spy” ship’s arrival in the area also serves as a bigger point about the potential power shift taking place in the Indian Ocean. It would be wise for New Delhi to read the tea leaves before it is too late.

According to individuals monitoring the market, mobile games and applications were used to entice clients looking for “simple loans,” but they ended up with a large interest load.  According to reports, up to 40 non-banking financial businesses with connections to China may have their licences revoked.

Raids on Chinese telecom firms have shown that by concealing transactions with their affiliated companies, they broke Indian law. The attention of Indian security services has been drawn to more than a dozen Chinese loan applications that target low-income groups. Not just in India, but also internationally, Chinese businesses participate in the greatest illicit cash flows.
