Since the inception of NCB in the SSR mysterious death case, the entire Bollywood town has come under the scanner of the illegal usage of drugs. While frequent alleged private chats of consumption of cannabis of these celebrities have been leaked, there also has been a debate on the illegal use of CBD oil.
Interview Times had a great opportunity to converse with the Co-Founder of Hempstrol, Deepika Sharma who cleared the air about legal and illegal CBD oil. This is how the interview went.
What was the purpose behind starting Hempstrol?
Hempstrol was started with a vision to bring solutions to human problems using a natural and organic approach. Hemp has been an essential part of our culture since old times. Hemp seed oil was often used in cooking, massaging, and as a pain relaxant at my home. The Delta 9 THC compound, which has psychoactive effects on the body, should be in less than 0.3 percentage to make it legal and safe to consume in India.

Do you think this drug connection will affect the business in general?

But, then, it was somewhere necessary and time to bring out a clear differentiation among those who are selling quality legal products and those who were selling Hash oil or Marijuana Oil illegally and calling it CBD oil. The business has been affected, but this will eventually pick up as the mainstream media itself cleared about the legality aspect of CBD Oil and also educated people why one should use CBD oil in the first place.
