The Estate Office, Chandigarh, will organize a special two-week camp from May 5 to May 20 to address discrepancies in property status records. The initiative aims to resolve mismatches between the department’s website and the documents held by property allottees or owners—particularly in cases where properties were previously resumed but later restored through court orders.
A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was developed to streamline the correction process, and several updates have already been made. Property owners under the Estate Office’s jurisdiction are urged to verify their property details using the “Know Your Property” portal (https://estateoffice.chd.gov.in/KnowYourProperty/Search) or the CMIS Chandigarh portal.
If any discrepancy is identified, affected individuals are requested to submit an application along with supporting documents at the special camp, located at the diary section of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office/Estate Office. The camp will be operational daily, including Saturdays and Sundays.
All applications received during the camp will be reviewed and resolved within 90 days.
