In a lavish ceremony, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated the “Akshar Bhoomi” to the Kalamandal grounds in Bhubaneswar. Beginning on February 3, the first World Odia Language Conference will occur over three days at Bhubaneswar’s Janata Maidan. On the grounds of Kalamandal in Bhubaneswar, Akshara Bhoomi has been built to enhance the conference’s memorability.
The Akshar Bhoomi, a one-of-a-kind exhibition of Odisha art and sculpture, was constructed out of Khondalite stone to honour the inaugural World Odia Language Conference. According to the Chief Minister, our love of language will endure since Akshar Bhoomi is adorned with the Ordia alphabet. Patnaik hoped that Akshar Bhoomi would keep inspiring the next generation about the splendour of the classical Odia language and our wonderful history.
It is important to note that V. Kartik Pandian, the chairman of the 5T, oversaw the building of Akahar Bhoomi and made frequent trips to Kalamandal. Kartik Pandian has directly supervised the Works Department while completing the work.
Principal Adviser of CMO Balakrishnan, Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Principal Secretary of I and PR Department Sanjay Singh, Culture Secretary Sujata Rout Kartikeya, Works Department Secretary Vir Vikram Yadav, and Culture Minister Ashwini Patra were present on the occasion.
