The uncle of Kate Middleton criticises Meghan Markle harshly and casts doubt on their marriage.Gary Goldsmith, Kate Middleton’s outspoken uncle, has fueled the flames by publicly criticising Meghan Markle. In a fiery interview, Goldsmith not only gave Meghan a cheeky moniker but also questioned the duration of Meghan and Prince Harry’s union. This was prior to Kate Middleton making her cancer diagnosis public in a one-minute video statement posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official social media account, which was made available by the palace.
In a recent interview with the Times, the Celebrity Big Brother alumnus attacked the Duchess of Sussex, calling her a “Laughing Girl.” He remarked in the interview, “Let’s face it, Laughing Girl isnt going to be around forever, is she?” “I believe she is erratic. And I believe she’s a terrible influence on Harry and our nation,” he went on, criticising the split royal family.
Following their 2018 marriage, Meghan and Prince Harry retired from their royal obligations in 2020. In an attempt to start again, the couple migrated from the UK to California, US. As Meghan and Harry started to distance themselves on some matters, tensions increased. But there was a short glimmer of hope for a reconciliation after a series of health issues within the royal family, including King Charles’s sickness and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. Sources claim that despite these challenges, the break is far from finished, suggesting that there is still uncertainty about the path to reconciliation.
