In 2014 and 2019, Nitin Gadkari emerged victorious in the Lok Sabha elections from Nagpur, the home base of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).Nitin Gadkari, a union minister, has stated that his kids must first work at the grassroots level if they wish to enter politics. “None of my sons are in politics,” the minister declared, speaking at a rally in Nagpur where he is running for a third term in a row as an MP in the Lok Sabha. My sons should start at the bottom and put posters on walls if they want to work in politics, I advised them. Workers of the BJP have a claim over my political legacy. Gadkari is the parent of three kids: Ketki, Sarang, and Nikhil.

The people of Nagpur and the party workers deserve the credit for all of my accomplishments. Gadkari is running for a third consecutive term in the Lok Sabha.In 2014 and 2019, Gadkari emerged victorious in the elections from Nagpur, which is the home base of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He won by a margin of 2,16,009 votes over Congress candidate Nana Patole, who is currently the head of the grand old party’s Maharashtra section, in the previous elections. Patole received 4,44,212 votes, compared to Gadkari’s 6,60,221 total.

Gadkari refuted rumours that he was a contender for prime minister in an interview with Times of India. “I never considered running for the position of prime minister. I’m happy with who I am right now. The former head of the BJP stated, “I am a devoted BJP worker with conviction, not a politician by calculation.”
