After KKR crushed RCB by 21 runs in the IPL 2023 on Wednesday, Virat Kohli was quite critical of his players.
After Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)’s (RCB) demoralising loss to former champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the recently finished match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Wednesday, batting legend Virat Kohli was harshly critical of his colleagues. In game 36 of the IPL 2023 at the renowned M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, a misfiring KKR team captained by temporary captain Nitish Rana outperformed Kohli’s RCB team.
After Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost their fourth home loss of the new season, Kohli made an explosive speech in which he candidly acknowledged that his team had given the game away. In the 16th season of the lucrative league, Bangalore’s latest loss to the two-time winners was attributed to their shoddy fielding and cheap dismissals, according to Kohli, who led RCB for the third consecutive game.At the high-scoring Chinnaswamy Stadium, during the high-scoring match between Bangalore and Kolkata, Kohli struck a valiant knock of 54 off 37 balls to keep RCB in the game. However, Kohli’s batting brilliance was in vain as RCB could only generate 179-8 in their attempt to chase down the enormous score of 200 in 20 overs. The RCB team, under by Faf du Plessis, is now in fifth in the IPL 2023 points standings following their 21-run loss to Kolkata.
