G7 summit: PM Modi to address the Summit in Digital today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the G7 summit today through digital media. The Prime Minister will attend the digital outreach session of the G7 Summit on June 12 and 13. Last month, the Ministry of External Affairs said that Modi would not go to the UK to attend the G7 summit in view of the coronavirus epidemic situation in the country.

The G7 summit will be attended by countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. The UK has invited India, Australia, South Korea and South Africa to chair the G7. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, announced at the G-7 summit in Carnival on Friday that the UK would provide the world with a 100 million dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccine by next year.

“Since the beginning of the epidemic, the United Kingdom has been working hard to protect against this deadly virus” he said. A year ago, we launched the Oxford-Astrazeneca vaccine to provide the world with an affordable vaccine. Prior to the summit, Johnson vowed to take major steps to defeat the epidemic. England, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan, the European Union and India, South Africa, Australia and South Africa are participating countries.
