Q1) There is a beginning in every author’s journey . Tell us about the start of your journey .
Ans : This was the time of Covid-19 when the PM announced lockdown. During the first lockdown and at that time how this time will end , everyone was confused. Everyone was working from home but I was very interested in watching webseries since my college days and even at that time I was watching webseries because watching webseries was new and OTT was booming. Hence I was watching one of my favorite series Narcos. After watching that I saw my mother watching Ramayan on television , from there I got an idea of a personality combination of Pablo Escobar and Ravan & how would it could’ve been if Ravan existed in these times.
Initially I stopped writing on this idea but after few conversations wit my father I developed that idea into a story. This is how my idea transformed into a novel.
Q2) One of your solo book project is under publication. Do you like to tell the readers more about the project ?
Ans : When my first book got published I noticed that readers like my stories because they get to read something new in other forms of media. After my first novel I started to work on a other story for which I had an idea for when I was writing the dark sun rises. My second novel spy thriller with a very powerful theme . “Isko Paane ki Chaah toh Sabne ki hai magar mukammal yeh sirf kuch naseebdar walo ko hi hua hai”.
Q3) A large section of the youth has almost stopped reading books outside their syllabus . What according to you are they missing on and what would be your advice to them ?
Ans : Yes its true that some younger audiences have stopped reading books but there are some people who are still interested in reading books. I think personally that everyone should read books of whatever genre they like because a book always teaches you something. Specially younger people should read books because a book gives you practical knowledge which helps you in your daily life , such learnings are unique to books.
Q4) Were you always confident about writing or this changed over the time ? How do you decide which genre ,whom do you want to write your books for?
Ans : Even though I was not from this background but after my first book’s response I realized people like reading something new and that when I decided to write more on similar topics like suspense action thriller. I primarily write for audience who like to watch OTT platforms and like political crime dramas.
Q5) Hobbies , do keep a person cheerful. Tell us more about your hobbies and how has your hobbies helped you throughout .
Ans : Watching movies ,TV shows mainly based on political drama which allows me to understand what the audience wants to watch and what’s trending these days which allows me to connect to my audiences much better & reading world affair news are few hobbies of mine. I think news gives rise to stories and hence I always try to keep myself updates on all news regarding geopolitics.
Q6) Your book “Dark Sun Rises” ends on a cliffhanger with a new character introduction. Would you like to tell us more about it and can we expect a second part of it soon?
Ans : I have always believed that the greatest power in this world is Love. It is love what blinds a man and turns him evil and vice versa. Which you have read in my book one who has lost all his loved ones and in revenge he wants to win the world. But “Revenge” is a powerful word and in revenge makes a man forget his limit. He needs to be stopped at some point and it’s the history of this country that when logic ends people tend to god for their hopes, like that is Ram who is like a last hope to everyone “who’s going to stop this monster”. Like in every era it has happened that the good always wins over the evil but the question remains how will this game of war will be played? and how it will end? Will there be any limits or bounder in this new age war? Or is there something else awaits for them….? Something big no one has a Guess off ?
