Vaibhav Jadhav is an embedded R&D Engineer . He has authored the book “ We Met in the Wrong Universe”. He uses poetry to ruminate on profound questions such as love, philosophy and existence. Let us know more about him in this interview.
Q1) Tell us about the starting of your author’s journey .

Ans : Becoming an author was never something I had planned or even dreamed of. In college, I had a passing fancy of living the writer’s life, but it was nothing more than a daydream. However, life presented me with a beautiful story. During a period of severe depression, I decided to pick up a pen and write everything down. My emotions initially poured out in the form of poetry. Later I decided to write that beautiful story. It started with a single page and slowly grew into a raw manuscript of 50-60 pages. From there, it has been a roller coaster ride of writing, learning, and all painful emotions. Now, I am thrilled that readers can also experience that roller coaster ride where I have simply put my vulnerability on paper with creativity. Along with it all, it has not just been an author’s journey but also a healing journey.
Q2”We met in the wrong Universe is a beautiful book by you ?”How did you decide the plot of the book and what was your inspiration behind. Also attach the link of the book.
Ans : Yes, something unfortunate happened in my love life that I will not spoil for future readers of “We Met in the Wrong Universe” by explaining it here. I was heartbroken, but the pain made me realize that, regardless of destiny, it all started beautifully and could be turned into a beautiful story. So, my own love story inspired me to write down all the beautiful things that came out of it. Of course, for privacy and entertainment purposes, I had to change timelines, characters, conflicts and many events.

Q3)Tell us about your hobbies and how do you manage time between your passion and profession.

Ans :I have so many hobbies that it’s hard to keep track of them all. It’s always a struggle to manage my time between them. I enjoy poetry, writing, cooking, learning about psychology and business, and I’m even trying my hand at music, dance and acting. To manage my time and pursue all these passions, I set time bounded goals for myself which helps me stay focused and organized.
Q4) From writing the initial draft to working on the final draft it surely requires a lot of efforts. What was the most challenging process in your writing career ?
Ans : For me, there were two major challenges. The first was learning the writing process and the skills required. I was an average student in languages and never even considered pursuing writing. However, through reading, courses and workshops, I was able to find ways to make it work. The second challenge was my own emotional instability, which caused me to take long breaks from my writing routine. But ultimately, the decision to write was the only thing that helped me heal.
Q5) Is there any message you want to give to the readers?

Ans: I have always believed in taking action rather than relying on faith. So, I would like to encourage everyone to never give up on their dreams. In “We Met in the Wrong Universe,” Nishchay never gave up on his passion for Vaidehi. Whether it’s a passion for a career or for a person or anything, if it truly matters to you, it deserves everything. Nishchay did the same for his love.
