Q1) Kindly tell us about how your writing journey began.
Ans: Our writing journey began as a passion for storytelling. We both had a love for literature and felt compelled to share our stories with the world. It started with writing short stories and poems, and eventually, we decided to collaborate on a novel. The process was both challenging and rewarding, and it allowed us to explore our creativity and hone our writing skills.

Ans: The plot of “In Search of Home” was born out of our shared interest in exploring themes of identity, belonging, and personal growth. The book revolves around Dev, an orphan who gets the opportunity to attend a boarding school where he meets Rehaan. Q3) Both of you have different professions, how did you manage to strike a balance between your profession and being an author?
Ans: Balancing our professions and writing was indeed a challenge. We had to be disciplined with our time management and set dedicated hours for writing. We made it a priority to allocate specific time slots for our writing sessions, ensuring that we could give our full attention to the book. Additionally, we supported and motivated each other throughout the process, which helped us stay focused and committed to our writing goals.
Q4) Tell us more about your hobbies. Do hobbies tend to keep a person motivated throughout?
Ans: Aside from writing, we both have diverse hobbies that bring us joy and inspiration. Mahek enjoys painting and exploring different art forms, while VK is passionate about poetry. Engaging in our hobbies provides us with a break from the writing process and helps keep us motivated. It allows us to recharge our creative energy and brings a fresh perspective to our work. Hobbies play a vital role in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and fueling our creativity.
Q5) There are many writers who want to write their solo books but lack the confidence to do so. What would be your advice to them?
Ans: Our advice to aspiring writers who lack confidence in writing solo books is to start small and believe in their own abilities. Begin by writing short stories or articles to build confidence in your writing skills. Surround yourself with a supportive community of fellow writers who can provide constructive feedback and encouragement. Practice regularly and set achievable writing goals. Remember that every writer has their own unique voice and perspective to offer. Embrace your individuality and trust in your storytelling abilities. With dedication and perseverance, you can overcome self-doubt and create something remarkable.
