Saptarshim Borah has created a wonderful book “ The Worlds Collide : The City of Cyborg “. He is a young and curious mind with keen interest in futuristic technology such as AI and VR. He is also particularly fascinated by the sci-fi genre. Let us know more about him in this interview.
Q1) You are pursuing your education. How did you start writing or understand your interest in writing ?
Ans :So, as a person, I’m a very keen reader, but I started writing a novel because I wanted to do something productive during the lockdown in COVID-19, and writing was something I actually enjoyed doing, and that’s basically how I started writing World’s Collide.
Q2)Tell us more about your book “The Worlds Collide : The City of Cyborg.” Also attach the link of your book .
Ans : Worlds Collide:The City of Cyborgs is a sci-fi novel of around 200 pages, and it revolves around the story of a boy named Tracer Lee who gains mysterious cosmic powers from a meteorite, and he must outrun an eccentric scientist to avoid his powers from falling into the wrong hands. That’s basically my book in a nutshell, the story has themes of technology, space, interdimensional beings, people with superpowers, and it basically contains all the themes a Sci-Fi lover would want.
Q3) Tell us more about your hobbies and what do you want to become in future ?
Ans : My hobbies are plenty, I like writing, computers, researching on topics that intrigue me, and whatnot. In the future, I plan on pursuing engineering, probably in the aerospace department since it seems the most interesting, but I’ll definitely continue writing books. It is a hard path, but I believe in myself.
Q4) You have your school life , tutions . Within that how did you manage to curate such a wonderful book .
Ans :During the lockdown, all classes were halted and we had been given at least 6 months of free time, and I took the initiative to utilise most of it for writing my book. As of now, offline classes have halted and it’s tough to take out the time for your own hobbies.
Q5) One message you want to give to the readers.
Ans : I sincerely hope that you will enjoy my book, and I think it’s a great one for sci-fi lovers. When I started writing it, I kept losing motivation. But success doesn’t come instantly, and I was able to complete it over a period of 2 years. My novel is not perfect and I am very aware of it, but I’m glad that my work can be read by people from all around the globe, and I can learn from this experience. Thank you.
