It has been a great turn of events for Team India since Rohit Sharma has resumed as permanent white-ball captain. After a thrashing whitewash against South Africa in South Africa, India has managed to win 2 matches out of 2 against West Indies in India under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
The first match might be an easy win for the host but the second win was hard-fought and tricky as West Indies only had a modest total to defend. Thereby, it was a collective bowling performance and brilliant captaincy of Rohit Sharma which lead India to win the second match as well as the ODI series against West Indies.
Today, India will play the third ODI against West Indies and will look to seal the series. While the bowling has been terrific for the host, India will like to use their reserves of Kuldeep Yadav and Deepak Chahar in this match. On the other hand, Indian batters like Pant, Kohli and even Rohit Sharma will look forward to putting a good score in their name. Also, Shikhar Dhawan will be back and Shreyas Iyer will be fit for selection after fully recovering from COVID.
