India will start supplying the Philippines with BrahMos missiles

The missiles are scheduled to arrive in March, while the ground systems are scheduled to arrive in the country in Southeast Asia within the next ten days.Two years after the two nations inked an agreement worth about $375 million to provide the Philippine Marines with three batteries of the missiles, India is scheduled to start supplying the Philippines with BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles.Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) chief Samir V Kamat informed a portion of the media on Thursday that the missiles will be delivered by March, and the ground systems will arrive in the country in Southeast Asia within the next ten days.

Currently, almost 100 domestic enterprises export military equipment from India to more than 85 countries. Ammunition, radars, artillery guns, rockets, armoured vehicles, offshore patrol boats, personal protective equipment, and several types of radars make up the equipment.
India exports bulletproof jackets to 34 countries, including Australia, Japan, Israel, and Brazil; ammunition (ranging from 5.56mm to 155mm) to approximately 10 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Indonesia, and Thailand; and fast interceptor boats to Mauritius, Seychelles, and the Maldives, in addition to defence electronics to the US, UK, and France.
