International Fact Checking Network nominated for Nobel peace prize

Norwegian MP Trine Skei Grande has made a major decision. He has been nominated International Fact Checking Networkfor the Nobel Peace Prize. He informed about this on his official Twitter account. “We are going through a time when it is very important to fight lies,” he tweeted.

This was also stated by US President Joe Biden in his oath of office. “This year we are selecting the International Fact Checking Network, or IFCN, for the Nobel Peace Prize,” he said. This organization needs our cooperation. By the way, Joe Biden was sworn in as President of the United States on Wednesday.

Following Grande’s announcement, IFCN Director Baybars Orsek thanked the fact-checking network team. He tweeted that he would continue to work for the fact-checking network, or IFCN, and work for the betterment of the world community. He praised the nomination, saying it was “fact”.
