There are several authors that you can see in the present world , however very few authors do strike a chord directly with your heart. Such an author is Shubira Prasad . She is an educationist, writer and astrologer. Let us know more about her in this interview .
Q1) You are an writer and an Astrologer. Tell us about how did your writing journey start ?

Ans: My writing journey began a long time back. I have been writing on and off in newspapers and magazines and other journals. This time however I had a strong urge to write about the warriors of the demon king’s Ravan’s army. Ravan had been killed by Bhagwan Ram. His army now knew that even though they might be spared by Bhagwan Ran, they will not be spared by Hanumanji and the other stalwarts of Bhagwan Ram’s army. So they escaped and hid deep inside the Earth and water and in space too. They went into hibernation and came out in different centuries to plague the Earth and its inhabitants.
Q2) How did the idea of “The Kumbh Conspiracy “come to your mind? Also attach the link for the purchase of the book.

Ans: “The Kumbh Conspiracy” is the third and presumably the last book of the trilogy of the war between human beings and demons. It is a continuation of the first two books of this trilogy. These are “The Demons of Jaitraya” and “The Angels of Kailash.” All three books are available on Amazon and Flipkart and other social handles too. Some of the links are as follows –

Q3) You are also actively involved in Astrology. Tell us how to find time to manage both the things together. Moreover how did you start having interest in Astrology?
Ans: I am very much interested in the workings of the human psyche. I have done my graduation in Psychology (Honours) for this purpose. Astrology was a natural progression in the same direction. For are we not a product of our DNA, our upbringing, our past births, our present and sometimes our future too. The topic is too vast and can comfortably be discussed for years and ages.
Q4) You also love travelling. Tell us about your most recent travel experience , and why do you think travelling is essential for a person .

Ans: Travel enlightens a person. Each place that you visit opens up like a new and fresh page of a mesmerising book that you wish to explore. Travel enriches you as a human being and teaches you to accept other people. Every country is different, yet the basics are the same everywhere. It fills you with wonder and humility too. I have travelled all over the country and more than half of the world too. There has not been much travel outside the country recently because of the covid scare and a few other reasons.
Q5) You are an educationist, what is that one value that you would like to impart to the youth of today?

Ans: Fortunately India is now in a position for the youth to make his/ her own choices regarding his/her life and profession. Earlier our youth was taught only how to work for a salary however small it was. Only a few avenues were open to our youth and only traditional jobs were available after hard and back breaking competitions, not necessarily liked and wanted by the younger generation. That is not so anymore. There are innumerable opportunities out there. I would like to advise our youth to be more aware, decide in the right direction and take bold decisions and risks. Also smart work is good, but there is no shortcut to hard work.
